For example, the company successfully developed the Autonomous ThermLoop System for intelligent closed-loop mold temperature control. This system uses the mold infrared sensing system (MISS) to monitor mold temperature in real time, while collecting pipeline data from various temperature control devices to generate comprehensive feedback. The data is transmitted to the “temperature control brain” — the ThermLoop algorithm. Based on heat transfer principles and intelligent technology, the algorithm compares actual temperatures with preset targets, calculates the required adjustment parameters, and verifies their accuracy. the centralized mold temperature control system (CTCU) then sends the parameters to each temperature control device, which adjusts the physical parameters of the heat transfer medium in the pipelines to precisely add or remove heat, thus achieving accurate mold temperature control.
This system marked the first successful realization of fully automated closed-loop autonomous mold temperature control in real die casting scenarios. Compared with manual control, it reduced die casting cycle time by 15%–30% while maintaining product qualification rates, significantly shortening spraying and air-blowing times and greatly improving production efficiency.
